THOMAS A. BALESTRERI, JR. has dedicated most of his 25 years in practice to the representation of developers, owners and general contractors in litigation, negotiations and risk management. Mr. Balestreri has tried high exposure construction cases with great success. Mr. Balestreri has earned the trust of owners and developers who have retained him to manage problem situations that require an intimate understanding of development and construction practices as well as a firm understanding of the needs of homeowners and tenants. He has created custom solutions and complete programs for the remediation and repair of earth movement caused damage for residences in Southern California.
Mr. Balestreri has assisted developers in responding to claims of non-disclosure and misrepresentation in the sale of the homes. He has been a featured speaker on construction law issues at the 2001 and 2004 seminars of the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel. In October 2002, he moderated a seminar sponsored by ASCDC on techniques and strategies in the trial of construction cases. Mr. Balestreri has written extensively on pre-litigation mold remediation. He has enjoyed an AV rating by Martindale-Hubbell for a many years.
