Associate SCOTT A. SILBER concentrates in litigation as well as advising clients, including subcontractors and general contractors, on insurance and contract matters. For the last six years, Mr. Silber has represented the firm’s clients in all types of real property and commercial disputes involving enforcement of mechanic's liens, defense and recovery of delay damages and breaches of contract. Mr. Silber also counsels the firm's clients on real estate law matters. He successfully represents the firm's clients on a variety of construction site and premises liability claims, including the following
• Strategizing the defense evidence and successfully moving for Summary Judgment on behalf of client municipality under the Trivial Defects affirmative statutory defense
• Facilitating negotiations as a master communicator for the firm's clients to obtain beneficial results on issues affecting them and their ongoing business relationships
• Extensive mediation on AIA documents and other contract documents including on disputes involving in excess of $25,000,000.00
